My name is Anezia Marques and I was born and raised in New York. I transferred to Arizona State University in the fall of 2019 as a sophomore. I started my college journey at a private school on Long Island. Long Island was different from my hometown, but after coming to Arizona, it feels like another planet! From the weather, the people, the lifestyle, it is all so different, but I love it. Studying journalism gives me the opportunity to focus on the three things I love: writing, photography, and travel. I hope to one day work for National Geographic.
